Native Planet Barrow Trekking Socks - For Cold Weather Conditions
Native Planet's Barrow trekking sock features the Climayarn functional fabric, which was designed by the Schoeller Spinning Group for high performance hiking in cold to fair weather conditions. Unlike Native Planet's Ramble hiking socks, the Barrow sport a denser fabric that locks the heat for longer, and also reinforced cushioning.
The Schoeller Climayarn Functional Yarn
Climayarn is a fine mixture if Merino Volne (Merino wool) and Polypropylene. Perhaps Climayarn's best property is its ability to regulate temperature even in extreme weather conditions. It has a warming effect in cold weather while preventing overheating in hot weather. Even more uniquely, the Climayarn can be machine washed although it is partially made out of Merino wool.
Functional yarns such as the Climayarn are great winter sports and outdoor underwear performers; they also dry very quickly thanks to their extraordinary moisture-wicking abilities.

Design and Structure
The high performing Ramble sock sock has a triple-T cross-sectioned filaments, creating micro channels that increase the sock's vertical pressure and wick the moisture away from the skin, while keeping the hiker's foot dry and chilly.
The NILIT® Innergy features "Micro-channels” in the fabric that, unlike any other type of fiber, naturally reject and pressurize the moisture away from its source.
* Flat-knit toe seam for extra long comfort
* Y-shape hill support
* Elasticized arch brace
* Mesh zones for increased ventilation
* Slip-free comfort top
* Reinforced cushioning areas for impact absorption
The Innergy is suitable for fair and cold weather conditions. It will keep you warm during winters and cool in while exercising.
